Interim Vice President for Research Ramesh Raina announced today that the University is extending the nomination deadline for the Meredith Awards to Nov. 23.
The nomination process has been simplified this year. The focus of the Meredith Professorship Program this year is to identify faculty members who have demonstrated a passion for outstanding, innovative teaching in an online, hybrid and/or mixed-modality environment. Further, the recipients of this year’s Meredith Professorships will leverage the professorship to conduct research focused on emerging and advanced-level pedagogical techniques in such environments. Candidates for this unique Meredith Professorship opportunity will be expected to share their teaching and learning scholarship widely in presentations and publications in and beyond the Syracuse University community.
