Campus Planning, Design and Construction is overseeing a window replacement project at University College. Intermittent sidewalk closures surrounding University College are required to perform the work safely. The work will begin Monday, Nov. 9, and continue through the end of December. The sidewalk closures will take place between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday as required.
One closure will be on the south side of Adams Street, just west of the University Avenue intersection, and the other closure will be on the west side of University Avenue, just south of the Adams Street intersection. These closures will not occur every day, but more likely a few days each week.
Signage will be placed at nearby intersections informing pedestrians of the closure and where to cross the road.
We appreciate your patience as there will be construction noise generated at times, as well as disruptions to pedestrian pathways. For everyone’s safety, you are encouraged to remain alert in work areas and follow detours.
Delays in the proposed work may occur as a result of weather and/or unforeseen circumstances. In the event that there is a significant delay, Campus Planning, Design and Construction will issue revised information as soon as possible.
