Grant Reeher, professor of political science in the Maxwell School, was quoted in the syracuse.com story “Syracuse area Democrats, Republicans treat early vote differently; don’t let numbers fool you.” Reeher, an expert on American politics and elections, says that voter’s behavior during early voting has fit the narratives being conveyed by each political party. Reeher says that “it certainly has something to do with the assumptions that each party is making about what situation will most likely benefit them,” and that early voting “has become a partisan issue.”
