Jennifer Grygiel, assistant professor of communications in the Newhouse School, was interviewed by CNET for the article “Facebook, Twitter will have their hands full with misinformation during election week.” Grygiel, a social media expert, comments on how Twitter’s handling of a recent New York Post story about Hunter Biden suggests that many social media platforms are uneasy in their handling of the election. Grygiel says this “was a signal that the platforms are still spitballing and there’s an incredible amount of risk in the system.”
