Margaret Thompson, associate professor of history and political science in the Maxwell School, was interviewed for the Southern California Public Radio story “Trump’s COVID-19 Diagnosis: What We Know & The Political Dimensions Of Medical Messaging.” In the interview Thompson joins Anita Kumar, White House correspondent and associate editor for POLITICO, and Dr. Peter Chin-Hong, infectious disease specialist and professor of medicine at the UCSF Medical Center, to discuss what President Trump’s COVID 19 diagnosis and short time at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center means for the country.
