Anthony D’Angelo writes “When the News Media Diminish, We All Do.”

Anthony D’Angelo, professor practice of public relations and director of communications management in the Newhouse School, wrote an op-ed for Strive Magazine titled “When the News Media Diminish, We All Do.” Recent questioning of the media’s trustworthiness worries D’Angelo, as he believes that the weakening of trust in the media is a threat to all political sides. “The increasingly popular argument that the news media are the enemy of the people is antithetical to their function in a democratic society: to serve as the main source for informed decision making by the people, for the people,” says D’Angelo.
