Robert Thompson, Trustee Professor of television, radio and film in the Newhouse School and director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture, was quoted in the Los Angeles Times article titled “What the end of E!’s ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ says about the changing TV industry.” Thompson, an expert on popular culture and reality television, said the show was “a real anchor to the network” as it “brought a lot of people to E! that would not have otherwise been there” simply because of a love for the Kardashian family.
