Eric Schiff, professor of physics in the College of Arts and Sciences and interim director of the Center of Excellence, was interviewed for the WAER Radio story “Could SU Research Help Schools Find Safe Way to Bring Back Students & Teachers?” Schiff’s research shows that a combination of proper mask wearing and classroom ventilation could curb the spread of COVID-19.  “It needs to be everybody because you don’t know which kid is asymptomatic or sick, there’s just no easy way to know that,” says Schiff.
