Student Experience

Dear Students:

Now that the semester is underway, this is a time when many of you are beginning to adjust to your new routines, class schedules and other campus commitments. As you consider your time in and out of the classroom, I want to share helpful resources to support your engagement, involvement and activity on and off campus, all in healthy and safe ways. Throughout the semester, you can expect events, programs and services to be offered virtually, in person and in a hybrid approach.

’Cuse Activities
The ’Cuse Activities portal includes information about all our recognized student organizations and their events. This portal is also home to workshops, events and activities hosted by the Office of Student Activities.

Orange After Dark
Offering signature late-night experiences, the Orange After Dark calendar includes events like trivia nights, movie screenings, mini-golf, laser tag and cosmic bowling.

University Events Calendar
The University Events Calendar includes academic, social, leadership, cultural and professional events happening across campus. You can also search the calendar for specific school, college or department activities.

  • Student Experience Events
  • Hendricks Chapel Events

Wellness Portal
The recreation and fitness areas of the Barnes Center at The Arch and the Ernie Davis Fitness Center are now open! Students can use the Wellness Portal to access schedules and make reservations for cardio equipment, weight machines, the indoor track, group exercise classes, weekend adventure day trips, the climbing wall, the Esports room and more. Please note: reservations are required.

Upcoming Events
If you are still looking for ways to get involved, connect with others, and expand on your interests and passions, there are a few events happening to support your exploration:

  • Student Activities Open Forum: Aug. 26, 5 to 6 p.m.
  • Cultural Centers Welcome: Aug. 27, 4 to 6 p.m.
  • Sport Club Fair (Session 1): Aug. 28, 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Sport Club Fair (Session 2): Aug. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Student Involvement Fair: Sept. 1-3, 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Please visit these resources regularly for updates on activities, events and programs happening on campus and virtually. We look forward to connecting you with even more opportunities this semester to enhance your student experience.

Thank you,
