David Driesen, University Professor at the College of Law, co-wrote a commentary for The Hill entitled “How private companies could step up to help save our election.” Driesen, an expert on constitutional law, says that the effects of the pandemic and the mismanagement of the United States Postal Service are a threat to the upcoming election. To remedy this, Driesen argues that “private business firms should volunteer to help to overcome these challenges to ensure fair and free elections in November.”
