Nina Kohn, the David M. Levy Professor of Law and Faculty Director of Online Education at the College of Law, was interviewed by MarketWatch for the story “Millions of COVID-hit nursing home residents risk losing their vote.” Kohn specializes in the civil rights of elderly persons and says that the pandemic and resulting restrictions at nursing homes could greatly impact voting access. Kohn believes it is a “really open question to what extent people in long-term care institutions are going to be able to participate in our election in November.”
