Then 2020 happened.” Gallagher, who has worked at various magazines throughout her career before teaching, recognizes that this year’s September issue is expected to bring in less revenue for many magazines. However, Gallagher says that print issues are still of value to many. “Nothing comes close to replicating that sense of discovery and delight that comes from reading a print magazine,” says Gallagher.
