Crosswalk Repairs Planned for Crouse Drive
Facilities Services and a local contractor are planning repairs to a crosswalk on Crouse Drive (south of the Crouse Drive parking attendant booth) and to the crosswalk at the entrance to the Quad Lot (immediately west of Hendricks Chapel). The work will be performed from Thursday, July 30, through Saturday, Aug. 1. The repairs are required to improve the pedestrian safety in these areas.
To complete the work, the Crouse Drive entrance to campus will be closed from Thursday, July 30, through Saturday, Aug. 1. All vehicles entering campus should proceed to the University Place entrance and through the open entry gate south of Crouse-Hinds Hall. The Quad Lot will be closed on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, Aug. 1. Quad Lot permit holders will receive a notice from Parking and Transit Services with additional information.
For everyone’s safety, you are encouraged to remain alert in work areas, follow detours and the directions of flaggers. Delays in the proposed work may occur as a result of weather and/or unforeseen circumstances. In the event that there is a significant delay, Facilities Services will issue revised information as soon as possible.
