“Syracuse University appoints diversity director for sports.”

Salatha Willis, associate director of diversity, culture, and climate, and John Wildhack, director of athletics, were interviewed by the Associated Press for the article “Syracuse University appoints diversity director for sports.” Willis is “charged with developing and implementing new ways to create an equitable culture among the university’s student-athletes, administrators, coaches and staff in the athletic department.” Wildhack says that “we need to recognize that we need to change and we need to do better.
