Brittany Kmush, assistant professor in the Department of Public Health at Falk College, was interviewed by CNN for the story, “New WHO report says airborne coronavirus transmission ‘cannot be ruled out’ in outbreaks in some indoor settings.” Kmush, an expert on epidemiology and global health, says the report ultimately concludes that COVID-19 can spread via “small aerosolized particles that can stay in the air for a longer period of time.” Ultimately, Kmush says that “we still have to keep doing the masking and the distancing and staying home whenever possible.”
