Assistant Professor of Political Science Steven White, from the Maxwell School, was interviewed by Agence France-Presse for the article “America’s original sin: Floyd death prompts historical soul-searching.” The article focuses on rethinking race in American history. “I think for a growing number of white Americans you are seeing more attention paid to the longer-term reasons that racial inequality persists in America,” says Professor White. He questions “whether these changes in public opinion will last,” and if  “this the beginning of a really substantial shift.”
