“Professor Pramod Varshney and Students Are Working with Industry Leaders on Drone Use Research.”

Pramod K. Varshney, a Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the College of Engineering was profiled by sUASnews, “Professor Pramod Varshney and Students Are Working with Industry Leaders on Drone Use Research.” Professor Varshney, who specializes in drone and sensor research, runs that Sensor Fusion Lab in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. His lab, along with the Center for Advanced Systems and Engineering (CASE) at Syracuse University, is “collaborating with the multinational Thales company to develop new tools and techniques for monitoring air space and tracking of small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), commonly referred to as drones.”
