“Reporters Alcindor, Collins, Jiang get under Trump’s skin”

Lynne Adrine, director of the Newhouse DC Graduate Program, was quoted by the Associated Press for the story “Reporters Alcindor, Collins, Jiang get under Trump’s skin.” The three journalists, Yamiche Alcindor, Kaitlan Collins and Weijia Jiang, all have “a knack for getting under President Donald Trump’s skin and an equal ability not to let it knock them off stride,” despite President Trump reacting to their questions by “calling them nasty or racist, and effectively telling the journalists to pipe down.” Adrine, a former news producer in Washington, stated that the fellow journalists support of one another “was a good example — not always common — of reporters working together to prevent a president from dodging a question.”
