“Covering Coronavirus”

Lynne Adrine, director of the Newhouse DC Graduate Program, was quoted by the National Press Club for the story “Covering Coronavirus.” The article covers tips, best practices and programs for journalists while covering the COVID-19 pandemic. Adrine says that a close relationship with a fellow journalist  during the Iranian hostage crisis turned in to a friendship where the pair has “always had each other’s backs” both in the newsroom and beyond. The article emphasizes the importance of these types of work friends, even from afar, as they keep journalists motivated during difficult times.
