Join Us on Sunday, May 10, at 10 a.m. for a Virtual Degree Conferral
You’re Invited to a Celebration of Our Graduating Students with a Special Virtual Degree Conferral!
Commencement is a milestone moment. And although Commencement 2020 will not occur as originally planned on Sunday, Syracuse University will still use this special day to celebrate our graduating students with a virtual conferral of degrees. Our 2020 graduates have worked hard for this milestone, and they deserve the opportunity to mark this day, pausing to recognize all they have achieved. The University’s full, traditional Commencement ceremony will be held this fall at a time and date to be announced.
Sunday, May 10, 2020
Begins at 10 a.m.
The Virtual Degree Conferral will include:
- Special remarks from:
- Chancellor Kent Syverud
- Interim Vice Chancellor and Provost John Liu
- Chair of the Board of Trustees Kathy Walters ’73
- Student Association President Mackenzie Mertikas ’20
- Appearances by surprise guests
- Performance of our Alma Mater
The entire campus community is invited—as well as parents, families and friends of the Class of 2020—to share in this special moment honoring our graduating students!
