One of the most prestigious honors bestowed upon a student, the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience is actively seeking applications and nominations for the Class of 2021 Senior Class Marshals. Annually, Syracuse University selects two Senior Class Marshals to represent their graduating class throughout their senior year.

To apply, current juniors must submit an application by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26. Faculty and staff can also submit nominations for qualifying students.

This year’s Senior Class Marshals, Serena Omo-Lamai ’20 and Kyle Rosenblum ’20, have positive reflections on their experience. “It has been an honor to serve the Syracuse University community as a 2020 Senior Class Marshal. This platform has provided many opportunities to engage with the University community and give back in meaningful ways. I look forward to utilizing all that this role has taught me in my future endeavors,” says Omo-Lamai.

Rosenblum echoed the sentiments adding, “The past four years have flown by, but my college experience was great because of the people I have been surrounded by, and I’m excited to walk alongside them at graduation in just a few months.” Both encourage students looking for leadership and community engagement opportunities to apply.

For more information, visit the Senior Class Marshal website. For questions regarding the application process, contact Denise Dowdall, executive assistant within the Division of Enrollment and the Student Experience, by email at ddowdall@syr.edu or by calling 315.443.4424.
