Genius Files Lawsuit Against Google

Imraan Farukhi, an assistant professor of television, radio and film at the Newhouse School, was interviewed by Rolling Stone for the article “Can Genius really win its lawsuit against Google?” Genius, a crowd-sourcing lyric and song annotation site filed a lawsuit against Google, accusing the search engine and its partner company of lifting verses and choruses from Genius without compensation.
