Barnes Center Sidewalk to Close on Monday for Steam Work

Thursday, November 21, 2019, By News Staff
Share

Work on an underground steam vault is planned on the east side of the Barnes Center at The Arch. The sidewalk between the Barnes Center and Carnegie Library will be closed on Monday, Nov. 25. During this time there will be sidewalk barricades and workers in the area. The sidewalk is planned to be reopened on Friday, Nov. 29.

Delays in the proposed work may occur as a result of weather, unforeseen circumstances and/or for safety reasons. In the event that there is a significant delay, revised information will be issued as soon as possible. For everyone’s safety, you are encouraged to remain alert in work areas, watch for route changes, heed construction flagger directions/employees at work and follow pedestrian signs.
