Share Your Student Experience by Completing the Orange Survey

The Office of Institutional Research has launched the Orange Survey, an undergraduate student survey that aims to better understand aspects of the student experience. The survey is administered every two years and covers questions related to students’ academic, financial, social, living and learning experiences.

The survey began on Oct. 28 and remains open through the end of the fall semester. The Office of Institutional Research encourages all undergraduate students to complete the survey.

“Students have a great opportunity through the Orange Survey to provide important insight on their lived experiences and ways we can further enhance their success,” says Steve Vassallo, assistant vice president for institutional research. “As we work collectively to create an unsurpassed student experience in and out of the classroom, the Orange Survey is one of the ways students can give their feedback to inform decisions that center on programs, services and resources.”

Students who complete the survey are entered to win prizes, including early registration, Amazon gift cards and basketball tickets. Students who completed the survey in 2017 are encouraged to complete it this year as well. A link to the survey has been emailed to all undergraduates at their syr.edu account. All individual responses will be kept confidential by the Office of Institutional Research.

For questions, contact the Office of Institutional Research at ir@syr.edu.
