One of the many great Syracuse football items that will be available for bid at the 15th Annual Charity Sports Auction is this helmet signed by the 1966 backfield trio of Floyd Little, Larry Csonka and Tom Coughlin.

The Sport Management (SPM) Club at Syracuse University has announced Make-A-Wish Central New York as the beneficiary of its 15th Annual Charity Sports Auction. The auction will take place in conjunction with the Orange men’s basketball game versus Seattle University on Nov. 16. The SPM Club is a student-run organization in the Falk College’s Department of Sport Management. Over the past 14 years, the Sport Management Club has raised more than $475,000 for local charities.

“‘Thank you’ does not feel adequate as we know what this amazing group of students can accomplish. As the beneficiary of the 2019 Sport Management Club Charity Sports Auction, they, together with our generous community, will help to fulfill many of the 150 wishes currently in our pipeline–right here in Central New York,” says Make-A-Wish Central New York President and CEO Diane Kuppermann. “Together, we will transform lives one wish at a time–and for that, we are most grateful.”

Make-A-Wish Central New York grants the wishes of critically ill children in its 15-county footprint, striving to say YES to every eligible child. Research shows that a wish builds the physical and emotional strength a child needs to fight, and often overcome, their illness.

Purchase of a game ticket for the Syracuse men’s basketball game is necessary for access to the auction. Tickets may be purchased online; at the Carrier Dome Box Office located in the Ensley Athletic Center; and by phone at 1-800-DOMETIX.

Follow the Charity Sports Auction on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, and visit www.sucharitysportsauction.com for the most up-to-date event information.
