Strawberry Festival Scheduled for June 14

person scooping strawberries over bowl of ice creamSyracuse University’s annual Strawberry Festival is scheduled for Friday, June 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Shaw Quad. The Strawberry Festival is traditionally attended by students, faculty and staff who want to learn more about campus departments and offices. Register by June 7 to be sure your department is represented.

This year’s festival offers music, games, a farmer’s market and picnic food. Strawberry sundaes and shortcakes are the biggest attraction of the day. Students with a valid SU I.D. and will receive a free strawberry shortcake or sundae.

Here are some details:

  • June 7 is the deadline for departments to register to host information tables in the service tent. Sign up now by completing this form by June 7.
  • The farmer’s market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Pre-order tickets for sundaes/shortcakes are available through Carrier Dome Concessions. Scan and email and I.D. to Vera Gibbs at vmgibbs@yr.edu by June 12. Tickets will be delivered on June 13.
