Mountain Goat Run on May 5 Includes Some Roads Around Campus

Mountain Goat Run logoThe yearly Mountain Goat Run will make its way through Syracuse on Sunday, May 5. Some of the roads around campus and in the Syracuse University neighborhoods, including Comstock Avenue and Thorndon Park, may be affected.

More than 3,000 athletes will be visiting Syracuse to test their physical and mental limits in the 10-mile run. The routes were chosen to highlight the various areas to showcase the unique setting of Central New York. Salina Street will be closed between Clinton Square and Jefferson Street, which is the finish line.

Race organizers ask neighbors to proceed with caution and allow for additional travel time to your destination if they are traveling near the routes. Organizers also encourage community members to cheer on the race participants and join in the fun at the finish line.

Visit www.mountaingoatrun.com for details and full maps of the course.
