Sidewalk Replacement Along Comstock Avenue Begins Next Week

As part of the City of Syracuse’s road construction work for the Bike Network Project, sidewalk repairs will begin along Comstock Avenue from Euclid Avenue to Waverly Avenue during the week of April 22.

This upcoming work will impact pedestrian routes. Pedestrians may be directed to travel to the next adjacent intersection to safely cross Comstock Avenue. Pedestrians should observe and follow signage.

The work, which has included asphalt repair within the road, is being done as part of a city street project along Comstock and Waverly avenues that will improve access to campus. A contractor hired by the city is making repairs to sidewalks and accessible ramps and creating new bike lanes. The work is scheduled to conclude on July 31.
