Dean Branham to Be Honored at 3 p.m. Vigil Today in Hendricks Chapel
A vigil to honor the life and impact of Lorraine Branham, dean of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, will be held today at 3 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel.
Hendricks Chapel Dean Brian Konkol; Amy Falkner, acting dean of the Newhouse School; and senior Kelsey Davis will offer reflections. Communication Access Real-Time Translation and American Sign Language interpretation will be provided.
Following the vigil, those assembled will process to Newhouse to tie orange ribbons on trees around the complex.
Branham passed away on Tuesday following a battle with cancer. She had served as the dean of the Newhouse School since 2008.
