Call for Nominations: 44 Stars of Excellence Awards

The annual 44 Stars of Excellence Awards acknowledge students, advisors and recognized student organizations (RSOs) who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to their organization and its mission. Students, faculty and staff may submit nominations  until this Sunday, April 7, at 11:59 p.m.

A total of 21 awards will honor Syracuse University recipients. Awards include the One University Award, the SU Spirit Award and the Senior Vice President’s Award for Outstanding Senior Leadership. Eligibility requirements vary per award, details may be found within the nomination form. Interested students may submit more than one application for available awards.

“Throughout the year, students and professionals work tirelessly to enhance the Syracuse University experience through programs, events and other social activities that help connect the campus community,” says Sarah Ross Cappella, associate director of the Office of Student Activities. “The 44 Stars of Excellence Awards provide the opportunity to honor our campus community and celebrate all that has been accomplished this year.”

The 44 Stars of Excellence Gala and Awards Ceremony, in addition to a buffet dinner, will be hosted on Thursday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m. in the Schine Student Center’s Goldstein Auditorium. Nominators and nominees will receive R.S.V.P. information at a later date.
