The Newhouse School’s Bandier Program in Recording and Entertainment Industries has been named to Billboard magazine’s 2019 list of top music business schools.
The Bandier Program combines the study of the business of music, media, marketing and entrepreneurship with hands-on experiences to prepare students for a successful career in the music industry. It was made possible through a generous gift from Syracuse University Trustee and Sony/ATV Music Publishing Chairman and CEO Martin Bandier ’62.
The Bilboard listing made note of Bandier students’ recent trip to South by Southwest and the program’s David M. Rezak Music Business Lecture Series, which has brought to campus such guests as Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and Steven Van Zandt, founding member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band.
