Annual One University Awards Ceremony Will Be Held April 12
Syracuse University will hold the One University Awards ceremony on Friday, April 12, at 4 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel. A reception will follow in the lobby of the Heroy Geology Building.
The annual ceremony brings the University together to celebrate the faculty, staff and student recipients of the University’s most prestigious awards and honors.
Two major University awards—the Chancellor’s Medal and the Chancellor’s Citation for Excellence—will be conveyed during the ceremony.
The following awards will also be bestowed: the Forever Orange Award, the Diversity and Inclusion Award, the Tolley Medal, the Meredith Professorship for Teaching Excellence, the Teaching Recognition Award, the Chancellor’s Award for Public Engagement and Scholarship and the Female and Male Student-Athlete Award.
Also recognized during the ceremony will be the University Scholars; Senior Class and School and College Marshals; Remembrance and Lockerbie Scholars; emeriti faculty; and 25-, 30-, 35-, 40-, 45- and 50-year employees.
