Committee Invites Input on Engineering and Computer Science Dean Search
Members of the campus community are invited to attend an engagement session to offer input and ideas related to the search for a new dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS). It will take place Friday, March 1, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Shaffer Art Building’s Shemin Auditorium.
The search committee—composed of faculty, staff and students, and chaired by Vice President for Research Zhanjiang (John) Liu—has begun the process of hiring a new ECS dean. As the search committee undertakes its first task—creating a position description that will be used to advertise the opening and attract qualified candidates—it invites all interested faculty, staff and students to participate in helping to set the direction of the search.
Those attending the forum may make suggestions, pose questions or just listen to the dialogue.
