Instagram Urged to Restrict Eating Disorder Imagery

Jennifer Grygiel, assistant professor of communications in the Newhouse School, was interviewed by The Guardian for the article “Instagram urged to crack down on eating disorder images.”

Grygiel, a social media professional, said in the article that “Instagram has attracted a community focused on anorexia that at times can promote the practice, which could lead to increased health risks including self-harm.”
