Veteran Unemployment Rates Reach New Low

Nick Armstrong, senior director for research and evaluation at the Institute for Veterans and Military Families, was interviewed by Military Times for the article “Vet unemployment hit an all-time low in 2018. Mission accomplished?”

In the article, Armstrong says that “the conversations and focuses of employers, as well as those who serve veterans in this space, are shifting from, ‘Let’s make sure you get a job’ to ‘Let’s make sure the job is a good fit.’”
