National Grid Project to Upgrade Gas Lines Underway on Comstock Avenue

Wednesday, December 12, 2018, By Kathleen Haley
Share

National Grid crews have started work to complete gas system upgrades on Comstock Avenue near Euclid Avenue. The work, which is being done in anticipation of paving of the northbound lane in early 2019, is expected to take approximately six weeks.

Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic throughout the project.

The work will begin immediately south of the intersection at Euclid Avenue and extend about 320 feet south on the east side of the street. The work will then move into the sidewalk and lawns on the east side of Comstock Avenue and continue approximately 750 feet to the south, terminating south of Stratford Street.
