Poet Dylan Krieger Speaking Friday at Noon in Bird Library

Critically acclaimed poet Dylan Krieger is the featured guest author for the latest Lunch Time Poems series event on Friday, Nov. 30, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Peter Graham Scholarly Commons, 114 Bird Library.

Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) and American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be provided at the event. Those requiring additional accommodations should contact Liz Cronkwright at 315.443.2573 or emcronkw@syr.edu.

At the event, the publishers of Nine Mile Magazine will be giving away copies of the spring and fall 2018 issues.

Krieger is author of three books: “No Ledge Left to Love” (Ping Pong, 2018), “Dreamland Trash” (Saint Julian, 2018) and “Giving Godhead” (Delete Press, 2017).

In a review of “Giving Godhead,” The New York Times called it “the best collection of poetry to appear in English in 2017.”

Krieger lives in southern Louisiana. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy at the University of Notre Dame and an M.F.A. in creative writing at Louisiana State University.
