The annual poinsettia and wreath sale sponsored by the Women of the University Community (WUC) is underway now through Nov. 21.  The sale benefits the Mildred Eggers, Ruth Tolley and Beverly Whaley scholarships across the Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry campuses. It is the group’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

Florist-grade poinsettias are available in red, white or pink. The six-inch pot is $10.25 and the eight-inch pot is $17.25. The 20-inch wreath, made of evergreen balsam fir boughs, is $18.25.

Please send order form with check or Syracuse University purchase requisition (both white and yellow copies) to Cynthia Roach, Financial Aid Services, 200 Bowne Hall, Syracuse, NY 13244. Checks may be made payable to Women of the University Community.

Orders will be available for pickup at the Inn Complete on South Campus on Nov. 29 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Orders of 15-plus plants can be delivered to SU campus departments (a $5 fee per delivery will apply).

An inclusive organization established at SU in 1927, WUC is open to all current or retired faculty, staff, trustees, graduate students and their spouses from SU, SUNY-ESF and the SUNY Upstate Medical University. Membership offers friendship, fellowship, interest groups and information about the Syracuse community. For more information, visit Women of the University Community or contact Esther Gray at 315.263.7635 or eegray46@gmail.com.
