Suzanne Lysak
Newhouse faculty member Suzanne Lysak has been chosen to participate in the Fulbright Specialist Program.
The program sends U.S. faculty and professionals to serve as expert consultants on curriculum, faculty development, institutional planning and related subjects at academic institutions abroad for a period of three to six weeks. It is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, part of the U.S. Department of State, and World Learning.
Lysak is an associate professor of broadcast and digital journalism at the Newhouse School. During her three-year appointment as a specialist, she will focus on training reporters as independent journalists.
Prior to her career in higher education, Lysak spent more than 20 years in broadcast journalism, working as a radio reporter, TV news reporter and anchor, TV news producer, executive producer and news director.
