Cliff Davidson, the Thomas and Colleen Wilmot Chair in Engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, is mentioned in Syracuse.com article “Record highs outnumber lows in Upstate NY. Climate scientists aren’t surprised.”
“If you are looking at data that suggest that the number of record highs in a period of recent years is a lot greater than the record highs of a few decades ago, that certainly can be a valid indicator of a change,” Davidson says.
