Annual Strawberry Festival Scheduled for June 8 on the Quad

strawberry festival flyerSyracuse University’s annual Strawberry Festival is scheduled for Friday, June 8, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. The Strawberry Festival is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to learn more about campus departments and academic programs and celebrate the summer season with a picnic on the Quad.

The festival offers music, games, a farmer’s market, DPS Bike Tune-Up Clinic and picnic food. Strawberry sundaes/shortcakes are free to students with a valid SU I.D. Strawberry sundaes/shortcake tickets for faculty/staff are $5.50 each. Advance sale tickets are available now. Send I.D.s and ticket delivery information to Vera Gibbs, (x4029) at the Carrier Dome Concessions Office, 900 Irving Ave. IDs must be received by Tuesday, June 5, and tickets will be delivered on Thursday, June 7. Tickets can also be purchased at the event.

University departments are invited to host an information table in the service tent. The deadline to register is June 4. Click here to reserve your table.

The Strawberry Festival is sponsored by University College, the Athletics Department and Recreation Services.
