Talks Continue Over Ending North Korean Nuclear Program

James Steinberg, a former deputy secretary of state for the Obama administration, recently spoke with Voice of America about the ongoing talks regarding the potential end of North Korea’s nuclear program. He discussed the relationships between both North and South Korea, as well as their relations with the United States.

“What we have seen so far is a fairly responsible attitude from the government here that seems to understand that there is a danger that the North Korea strategy is to drive a wedge between the United States and South Korea,” he said.
