Kendall Phillips, a professor in the department of communication and rhetorical studies in the College of Visual and Performing Arts, examines how President Trump is turning to Fox News to fill empty administration positions. The most recent move comes with the hiring of former Fox News contributor John Bolton as a national security advisor.
“He’s looking for people who are ready to be part of that television White House,” said Phillips in this Associated Press article. “This is the Fox television presidency all the way up and down.”
