Tax Return Tips from Whitman Expert

With tax season coming up, many people will soon find themselves with a little extra cash thanks to a tax return refund. John Petosa, professor of practice at the Whitman School of Management and a licensed CPA, outlined several ways to get the most out of your tax returns with U.S. News and World Report.

“You could start or add to your child’s 529 plan,” Petosa told the publication, talking about investments that can benefit yourself and your family. Other ideas including paying off debts, retirement savings and home maintenance.
