A study co-authored by Jennifer Karas Montez, an assistant professor of sociology at the Maxwell School, was recently cited in a Washington Post article about the rising death rates of those without a college degree. Montez’s research explores the ways public policies at state and local levels affect those without a college degree. You can read Montez’s full work here.
