How Trump and Social Media Have Changed Politics

CNET.com recently took a look at how social media has helped shaped politics, specifically in regards to President Trump’s actions on Twitter. For the article, they interviewed Newhouse professor Jennifer Grygiel, who discussed the Russian election scandal, and how it isn’t going away anytime soon.

“Congress isn’t going to let this issue go away, and the tech companies are going to fight to make sure they don’t get excessive government oversight,” she said. “It’s going to be an uphill battle.”
