The City of Green Bay, Wisconsin, is aiming to bring back a live stream of their City Council meetings. To do so, there are several legal hurdles to consider, which Syracuse College of Law Professor Michael Schwartz discussed with the Green Bay Press Gazette.
“Put simply,” Schwartz said, “the ADA requires a level playing field for everyone, deaf and hearing, and if something is going to be posted for the general public, it has to be captioned so that it is accessible to deaf people.”
