CVS’ Purchase of Aetna Shows Evolving Heath Care System

Following CVS’ massive purchase of Aetna, Tom Dennison, the Director of the Lerner Center at the Maxwell School, discussed with Consumer Reports how the healthcare system is evolving.

“We’re seeing consolidation in the healthcare delivery system at a rapid pace,” he said. “When you’re bigger, you have more leverage to negotiate prices.”
