Expert Seward Discusses Potential Buyout for Grain Merchant Bunge

As grain merchant Bunge sees falling profits, concerns of a buyout from commodity trader Glencore PLC have employees worried about the future. At the moment, compensation packages have grown to sweeten the pot in case of this deal.

While the future remains uncertain for the companies involved, Whitman Finance Professor James Seward says that new agreements, despite the potential buyout, should encourage executives to stay.
