The Office of First-Year and Transfer Programs is participating in the first-ever nationwide First-Generation College Celebration in partnership with NASPA and the Council for Opportunity in Education. The celebration is Wednesday, Nov. 8.
All faculty, staff and students identifying as first-generation college students, those who are the first in their family to attend college, are invited to sign a banner and pick up “Proud to be First” stickers from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Schine Student Center Atrium. First-generation faculty and staff members who cannot attend can add or update their contact information using the First Gen Contact Form for updates on first-generation programming on campus if interested.
